How authors may — and may not — use AI tools when submitting to NOUS Review.
NOUS Review recognizes that AI tools are increasingly part of how writing is produced. We ask authors to use them transparently and to ensure that every submitted essay remains their own thinking.

Permitted Uses
Authors may use AI tools for grammar checking, proofreading, and citation formatting.

Not Permitted
Authors may not use AI tools to generate arguments, interpretations, structure, or substantial passages of text.
Bottom line: every submitted essay must represent the author's own thinking. Substantial AI-generated writing, fabricated citations, plagiarism, or ghostwriting will lead to rejection.
